Fresh from penning an endorsement deal as the first ever brand ambassador for Gala, music act, Harrison Okiri better known as Harrysong has been named the ‘Creative Person of the Year 2015’ by one of Nigeria’s dailies, The Sun Newspaper.
The ‘Reggae Blues’ crooner will be honoured alongside popular dignitaries such as Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Dr. Willie Obiano, Chief Uche Ogah, Justice Marian Aloma Mukhtar, General Ike Nwachukwu (rtd), and Nigerian Football Federation president, Amaju Pinnick. Others popular faces to be honoured at the yearly event scheduled to hold on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Expo Concention Centre, Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos include Nollywood actress, Omoni Oboli, Chief Eric Umeofia, Josephine Ugwu, Yemi Adeola, and more.
Since his debut, Harrysong has released chart topping singes such as ‘Ofeshe’, ‘I’m In Love’, ‘Mandela’ among others. His monstrous single, ‘Reggae Blues’, became the toast of music lovers and dominated the dance floors following its release in 2015.
