The Oba of Benin Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Omo n’Oba n’Edo Uku Akpolopkolo Erediauwa, has passed on.
The passing away of the monarch was announced by the Iyase of Benin Kingdom, Chief Sam Igbe,on Friday afternoon.
A native chalk was broken within the palace to signify his passage to join his ancestors.
